Under the honorary chairmanship of Dr. Joseph Ayoub, a leading specialist in medical oncology, we held (in the restaurant Zante) the Great Greek Evening, an annual benefit cocktail to sustain our project in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Representatives of the Congolese community (COCOM) were present and shared with us some of their customs.

Skillfully organized by our Montreal organizing committee, not to mention the talents of our faithful host Joe Cacchione who announced the silent auction so smoothly  (to the delight of many…), we can affirm that this evening was a great success.

Thanks to our enthusiastic participants and generous sponsors and donors, the funds raised enabled us to offer 15 scholarships, each worth $1,000 to nursing students from the Institut Supérieur en Sciences Infirmières (ISSI) in Kinshasa (DRC).
