The cocktail party on November 6, 2019, to benefit nursing training in the D.R. of Congo was a great success for an eighth year!
What a wonderful evening we all had in this “Crooners” atmosphere that singer Daniel Bolduc allowed us to experience performing the Frank Sinatra, Nat “King” Cole, Bing Crosby and Dean Martin. Despite the limited space, some participants could not resist dancing to these irresistible period tunes, which made the evening even more festive.
Thanks to our many volunteers, everything was there. Sumptuously illuminated auction tables filled with items of all kinds, from excellent hockey tickets to beautiful jewellery and beauty products sponsored by AVANTI Le Spa. Some even took the opportunity to start their Christmas shopping and were able to find their gifts at a reasonable price, thereby increasing profits for the cause. Restaurant La Classe is perfect for this type of event and, for a second year, the students of Lasalle College welcomed us there very warmly.
